There is an ever-increasing demand in flexibility and robustness for automation solutions for logistics and production automation. Mobile robots and automated guided vehicle (AGV’s) form a large part of these solutions. To achieve more flexibility and the ability to work in environments that become more dynamic by the year, one requires new and advanced mobile robot positioning technologies. About Willem-jan Lamers
Willem-Jan Lamers studied mechanical engineering at the technical University of Eindhoven. He founded his first company, that provides services and products for the Vehicle Dynamics market, in 2009. One of his inventions led to the founding of Accerion in 2015. Accerion is a company that develops positioning technologies for mobile robots.
Mobile robots make many industries more efficient and safe today but especially Logistics. Customers up their demands, so suppliers have to work faster and cheaper. Resulting in a high need for efficiency and mobility. These factors are highly influenced by digitizing and robotics. We have developed a product that ensures these mobile robots can by truly autonomous and mobile, without infrastructure, indoors!
